Pick-up from Sapporo hotel (or New Chitose Airport pickup available with additional fee), Scenic drive to Niseko area (2 hours southwest through Hokkaido countryside), drive through Otaru or coastal route with ocean views, enter Niseko area seeing Mt. Yotei rising ahead (weather permitting), pass through rural Hokkaido with farms, silos, and wide open spaces

Mt. Yotei viewpoints and Niseko area orientation, stop at scenic viewpoints along Niseko Panorama Line, photograph Mt. Yotei from multiple angles (1,898m volcanic cone nearly identical to Mt. Lunch in Niseko resort area, Niseko has exceptional farm-to-table dining and international food scene (unusual for rural Japan), OPTIONS: Option A: Niseko Pizza or pasta using local ingredients at resort restaurant (¥1,500-2,500), Option B: Japanese cuisine featuring Hokkaido ingredients - seafood, vegetables, rice (¥1,800-3,000), Option C: Western-style cafe with Hokkaido dairy (cheese, milk, ice cream), Option D: Soup curry (Hokkaido specialty) with local vegetables, lunch not included - wide price range depending on choice and season

Niseko hot spring (onsen) experience, choose from multiple excellent onsen facilities in Niseko area, OPTIONS: Option A: Niseko Grand Hotel or other resort day-use onsen with Mt. Yotei views (¥1,000-1,500), indoor and outdoor baths, modern facilities, Option B: Niseko Goshiki Onsen - rustic mountain onsen with colored mineral waters at higher elevation (¥700), more traditional atmosphere, Option C: Yugokorotei - luxury onsen experience if desired (higher cost but exceptional), Option D: Public baths in various resort areas (¥600-800), enjoy sulfuric or bicarbonate waters while soaking with mountain views, extremely relaxing after activities, traditional bathing culture experience, note: some visitors prefer to skip onsen and spend more time sightseeing - very flexible

Return drive to Sapporo (2 hours), scenic route through Hokkaido countryside, possible sunset over Sea of Japan if coastal route taken, arrive back in Sapporo early evening
